I am discussing an appointment with a provider who wants me to use a gift card as payment. Never had this come up before. Is this a red flag or not that unusual?

"She" is going to ask you to send you the numbers on the back so "she" can "verify" there's money on the card.
Then the card will be emptied.
Then you will be ghosted.

How about a link to her ad if you can’t find reviews? Sounds like a scam but if she’s saying gift card after the fun there’s a slight chance it’s not a scam. Slight chance…

That is just what I was going to say. I have had several guys tell me that a provider asked them for a gift card for a "deposit" and they ask for a pic of the back of it. Magically all of the money on it disappears and so does the "provider."
