Is it a common current practice to give a provider a deposit for outcall or car date servicers prior to time of session? Or just a scam?

There are probably some legit ones out there, but every single person I've known who put up a deposit (often if it's paid using a gift card) has found it to be a scam.  Once they got the deposit, that's the last they heard from the provider.

I think this deposit thing has gotten out of control.  Fellas, do your due diligence if you decide to.

Deposits are becoming more of a norm. I require them for outcalls or longer appointments.  I would of course make sure the provider you are wishing to see is reputable first.

I would have said it's okay with a reputable provider (which I have done with no problems), but Winter Kay proves that behaviors change.  She had sterling reviews but doesn't seem to be reliable any longer.

I require deposits for incall and outcalls.
A booking is not arranged - blocked - on my calendar until deposit has been received.

Anytime your required by a lady to pay a deposit make sure she is reputable! Any professional lady would not risk her reputation in a scam. I have gotten to the point where I ask for deposits when I'm on tour to weed out last minute cancelations or time wasters. Sorry this happened to you :(

There are just too many scammers out there to ever do a deposit for a first time meeting.
In fact there is a Pre-pay scammer (Ambyr) running ads right now on the TER ad boards for several cities Balt, Philly, KC and others.

Sorry to the honest providers, but if you ask for deposits you will eliminate many, if not most, of your potential clients (the smart ones).  Sorry ladies, but don't blame us, it is the other providers who have ruined it.
Cash is king.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me.  With advent of CashApp and the like deposits as a scamming method is growing and becoming the order of the day.  Making the TER tool that more valuable.

Exactly well said. It’s absurb. NCNS are much more prevalent than scammers. As previous lady stated I cut my losses by requiring deposits.

I’ve required a deposit to book, since 2010. I have never had any issues. Those who matter don’t mind paying. Anyone who provides car dates are on the lower spectrum of providers usually street walkers, so no deposit would be justified. If the date is in the car what’s the need for a deposit? Is she a high end provider & you’re requesting her for a car date?

lol funny that’s new to me. I require a deposit to reserve my time because I am a single mother with responsibilities. If I leave the house I need to know my time is paid for. I have to reserve dog boarding + childcare. If a hotel is needed that has to be booked in advance to accommodate the date. I would never recommend sending a deposit to anyone who is not verified, certified, or reputable. If I have to cancel I will refund the deposit because I have integrity. Smile for me! Xoxo 💋
