Came from DC. Always used this website for reviews of providers. Moved to Austin recently. The reviews are much less and almost no Asians like koreans or Chinese.

I feel you on that one. Austin is the last place anyone tours for some reason. I've never figured it out.

It does seem quiet from what I've gathered in the forums - still, I'm looking forward to visiting next month! It'll be my first time there and I can't wait.

I always check out a city with providers before I visit and see a lot in Austin .

Ladies always complaining on Twitter about no quality guys in Houston, Dallas , and Austin. Perhaps it's the law they passed or the fact that there are many in expensive ladies so the better ladies don't get enough to bring us back. I have had same experience with a slow down when coming to Texas this last year.

I do some consulting for airlines (not either of the Dallas based ones) crunching data. I do know that overall business travel to Dallas is off almost 60% from pre pandemic levels. My guess would be that this affects the hobby producing some negative effects. My traveling is off about the same amount and the ladies I see are saying they are experiencing leaner times.  That said; I have had some outstanding experiences with both Dallas and Austin providers. Houston - not so much.

Texas In general is a great place to hobby.  Austin has lots of great providers. Check the local web sites for the area.  
Also p-411 is a must have for Texas.
