Ensuring Reviews

I'm new and really pining for reviews to prove that I'm a legitimate provider. I met with someone for the first time yesterday and he agreed to review me after our appointment. After our appointment, he doesn't want to review me now and told me he wanted me all to himself.

I've tried giving discounts for reviews but it seems like reviews are hard to get. The majority of my inquiries for appointments are from guys who aren't on TER. If I ask one of the nonmembers I saw yesterday to review me, guys will still question if it's a real review.

Is there another way to prove being legit while I wait for reviews? It's very discouraging.

I would spend time getting to know local posters on your local discussion board.Perhaps  make replies or even start a thread.                    tc & gl

as you are not reviewed yet.  Someone with a TER history...  posts or reviews...  is more likely to get reviews approved.
Even without a TER Profile (which is established by your first reviewer), you are still a member.  You can post an ad once every 7 days on your local ad board.  You can particpate on any board but it would do the most good on your local board...  be careful not to start posts that look like ads which would then count as your ad for the week.   Thoughtful replies will get members comfortable with you.  I know that led me to some meetings which I otherwise would not have made.  If you want TER reviews, you have to have ads on TER.
It is bad policy to give discounts for reviews but it's ok to have a price for TER members.  Since your account is not yet linked to a provider profile, you can't use the TER Private Message system unless you pay for VIP.  Once you are established as a provider, you get FREE limited VIP, so you can read your complete reviews & access the PM system.  A PM on TER does not replace screening but does establish that they are members.  You can read their board posts & other reviews.

I hope this helps

I don't view discounts for reviews as bad policy. I post discounts for reviews to make the review process more quick and get the ball rolling.

I don't see discounts as a way to bribe guys to give good reviews because I'm looking for only truthful reviews. I don't want guys to feel misled if they met with me and they felt my reviews weren't accurate.
That's only bad for business in the long run IMO.

It's very frustrating having guys tell me they will wait to see me until I have a review on TER from an established reviewer.

I definitely will post on local boards though. Thanks for the tip!

I'm located in Orange County but travel to Los Angeles as well. I mainly post in Los Angeles though :(.

I am in the same boat as you!   You asked what I was going to ask!

I am totally with you here, SweetCheeks! :) It's such a conundrum. I finally got one review, but getting any more has proved to be fruitless (although one of my old regulars who is not a member of TER has promised to think about it). My clients tend to not be members as well, which is weird since I only have one ad up. It's an Eros ad. I am convinced they lurk here or something.

Welcome to TER and all he best of luck to you!!

And for that reason, many guys just won't write reviews.  Be patient , they will come, esp if you give quality service for a good price.  Many of your clients have probably never heard of TER, I have seen that expressed many times by providers.  Not only that, many guys will not write reviews, for various reasons.

I'm in OC and love to meet (and review) new girls. I find them to be very genuine. They haven't been tainted by the profession yet. Send me a pm and lets meet.

I'm in this same predicament. Its hard to get reviews, when no one will see you because you don't have any reviews. Its pretty frustrating, especially in the area that I'm based. Perhaps it would be easier if I lived in a large city like LA or NY but I'm in the Midwest for the time being and the regional boards for Missouri are practically dead. Its really frustrating.
