I will be visiting San Diego for the first time next week, and am looking for places to get good eats. I will be in the Mission Valley area, and love all types of food. Any suggestions? Thanks!
MariahBertrand's at Mister A's. French chef and spectacular views. Business casual to semi-formal.
Sweetheart
Just ask your clients to take you for dinner one night.
Mission Valley has too many restaurants.
you put your post in the wrong place?
Yes CDL I do not respond often.
Did not mean to offend, maybe ask you out??
Are you GFE??
You can only ask me out if you're equipped with a pussy. If you have one, I'm BFE.
Stone Brewery, Donovan's Steak and Chop House (nice attire), McCormick and Schmicks. Enjoy America's Finest City!
Depending on budget.
Bleu Boheme (country french romantic) Cheese =)
Hane or Shino (best sushi around. Sushi Ota also stellar but lines....)
Salvatores (fancy italian)
Market (amazing cali cuisine)
Cucina Enoteca or Cucina Urbana. I like enoteca more.
Delicias in Rancho Santa Fe
Carnitas Snack Shack (budget hipster delicious)

Everything in moderation. Especially that evil diabetes-causing sauce with HFCS that we all call ketchup.
Foodbabe sounds like a food bitch.
And my apology to the OP for this thread hijack. Enjoy San Diego. Taste of Thai in Hillcrest is another great choice. Avoid the touristy gaslamp restaurants unless you're downtown partying anyway.

Steakhouses Mortons, Flemings and The Palm are all in gaslamp within walking distance to each other. One of my providers said this is where she gets the best meat in her mouth. I didn't take it personally.
I'm sure you know this already, but since you brought up eating in moderation.....
This CDC article talks about obesity in the US which stands at 35%. Now, that means 1/3 of the folks reading this right now are obese. It is, potentially, a life-threatening condition. If we can't agree on that, then I'm sure you can agree obesity is debilitating.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program! I recommend eat at Souplantation
It's so good and love that it's open late!
Either Il Fornaio restaurant at Coronado or Del Mar is good and have nice views too.
The Fish Market on the harbor has excellent sea food and is right on the water also.
spending a lot of money, I would find a different hobby. Lol
Aren't necessarily all the expensive ones some low prices providers are amazing too
Here are a few of my favorites:
Gaslamp Strip Club - A Steak Place (www.cohnrestaurants.com/gaslampstripclub) Gaslamp District
Miguel's Cocina (www.miguels-cocina.com) Shelter Island
Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits Company (www.ballastpoint.com) Little Italy 2215 India St.
Karl Strauss Brewing Company (www.karlstrauss.com) Sorrento Mesa or La Jolla
Is the gaslamp strip club the place where you pay full fare for a raw steak then have to walk over to a communal grill and cook it yourself? If so screw that. Wtf would I pay $40-50 for a raw steak that isn't even that high end then go cook it myself? Lol
Go to Cowboy Star, Mortons, Ruths Chris
