The political climate in many urban areas seems obviously moving towards less aggressive policing, less aggressive prosecutions, including not prosecuting prostitution offences. While it's not actual decriminilization, it is a liberalisation step. You would think this would make providers more at ease. But the trend I see in providers is the opposite. It seems they are more scared then ever, more aggressively screening than before. Many providers don't accept references anymore, they want real life job info, ID, linkedin, pictures, etc. Why is the trend in providers counter-current to the trend in law enforcement and prosecution? I don't get it.
